LMI offers two
radiant under-floor heating solutions. On a properly installed
system, maintenance is minimal -- simply ensure thermostat is
programmed correctly.
Silicone
Jacket (SJ) Floor Warming Cable
LMI’s SJ floor warming cable is factory terminated and arrives
on the job site complete and ready to install. It is flexible,
easily bends to accommodate existing or planned built-ins, lays
flat, and can cover the entire open floor area.
Mineral
Insulated (MI) Floor Warming Assembly
LMI’s MI floor warming assembly is factory terminated and
arrives on the job site complete and ready to install. It is
rugged enough to be installed in concrete, easily bends to
accommodate existing or planned built-ins, lays flat, and will
cover the entire open floor area.

Installation
Our under-floor radiant heating system consists of a
factory terminated free-form cable attached to a sub-floor in
serpentine pattern, hard wired to a power source and a control,
and embedded in concrete, light-weight concrete, gypsum, or
thin-set. All cables arrive on the job site ready to install. No
splicing or field terminations are necessary. A contactor panel
will be required to switch loads that exceed the 16 amp load of
the FL-12P or FL-24P thermostat.
Availability
Silicon Jacket floor warming cables are stocked and usually ship
with 24 hours. LMI maintains a large inventory of raw MI
cable spools in different resistance sizes so that we can
provide mass customized floor warming assemblies within one to
two weeks of order placement.
